Maybe next time, "next time" will be better than it was last time.

Motor City peeps will appreciate this one as WB offers a new definition of a well-known word:

insanity, n. - the strong and true belief Detroit Lions fans hold at the start of every football season, that this season will be the one where they'll see a winning record and have a real shot at the Super Bowl.

In case anyone missed it, the Lions lost 34-21 to Atlanta in the NFL season opener. They were held to just three receptions in the second half, but how many fans still clung to the hope that the team would pull it out in the final minutes? Is this the meaning of devotion, optimism, or just... insanity?
